CGPSC 2022: Chhattisgarh PSC released vacancies for 189 posts, for the first time not a single post for DSP
Raipur. Chhattisgarh PSC has maintained the tradition by releasing vacancies on 26 November i.e. Constitution Day. The office of the PSC has published a notification for filling up of 189 vacancies.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for 189 vacancies on the official website - psc.cg.gov.in from 1 December till 20 December.
Many students were apprehensive before the notification as the results of examinations including state PSC are yet to be declared and many examinations have been canceled after the High Court's decision on the reservation controversy. The long going tradition of declaring the result on the last day of the interview was broken this time. This is the reason why the aspirants were apprehensive about the new notification as well.
There is disappointment among the youth over zero vacancy in DSP Posts. It is one of the most important post as a large number of Aspirants who are preparing for Sub Inspector exam are also likely to preparing for DSP. Disscussion has surfaced that maybe in the coming days the posts of DSP may be added by the state PSC by issuing supplementary notification.
However, this time there are more vacancies in Class II posts. Apart from Deputy Collector, the posts of State Financial Service Officer, Food Officer / Assistant Director, District Excise Officer, Assistant Director / District Women and Child Development Officer, Assistant Director State Audit, District Registrar, State Tax Assistant Commissioner, Superintendent District Jail and Employment Officer are mentioned in the notification. There are More than forty vacancies of class two posts.
According to experts, after the formation of new districts, vacancies have been created for class two officers in all departments.
PSC has released the maximum number of 70 vacancies for Naib Tehsildar. In fact, CM Bhupesh Baghel has announced to open new tehsils and sub-tehsils in different areas as per the demand of the people. In this context, there is a need for a large number of Naib Tehsildars.
