CG Govt issues promotion list of IGs, DIGs: Promoted officers retain the current posts, IPS Neethu Kamal, Abhishek Shandilya, Ramgopal Garg given Proforma Promotion
Chhattisgarh Government on Saturday issued a promotion list of Inspector General (IGs) and Deputy Inspector General (DIGs) rank officials besides Proforma promotion of three Indian Police Service (IPS) Officers. However, there is no change in the current charge of any officers.

Chhattisgarh Government on Saturday issued a promotion list of Inspector General (IGs) and Deputy Inspector General (DIGs) rank officials besides Proforma promotion of three Indian Police Service (IPS) Officers. However, there is no change in the current charge of any officers.
As per the order, 2003-Batch IPS officers as In-charge Inspector General of Police (IGP) Bastar Range (Bastar Jagdalpur) Sundar Raj P has been elevated to IGP Bastar Range, In-charge IPS Bilaspur Range Ratanlal Dangi promoted to IGP Bilaspur Range, In-charge IGP Durg Range promoted to IGP Durg Range, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Police Head Quarters (PHQ) Raipur RP Sai elevated to IGP PHQ Raipur.
The list of promoted IPS Officers of 2007-Batch includes Superintendent of Police (SP) Bastar Jitendra Singh Meena, SP Bilaspur Deepak Kumar Jha and 19th Battalion Chhattisgarh Armed Forces Jagdalpur Commandant DK Garg. Besides, in-charge Deputy Inspector General Kanker Balaji Rao Somwar got promoted to DIG Kanker.
An IPS officer of 2008-Batch Neethu Kamal, who completed 13 years in service on January 1, 2021 and a 2007-Batch IPS officers Abhishek Shandilya and Ramgopal Garg, who have completed 14-years of service on central deputation since the allotment year, have also been given Proforma promotion in Service's Selection class payscale pay-matrics level-13 from January 1, 2021.
The 2008-Batch IPS officers namely SP Gariyaband Parul Mathur, SP Raipur Prashant Kumar Agrawal, Assistant Inspector General PHQ Raipur Milna Kurre, Bijapur SP Kamalochan Kashyap and 2nd Battalion CAF Sakri Bilaspur Commandant KL Dhruw have also been given promotion on completion of 13-years in service since the allotment year.
