The top bureaucrats in Rajasthan may get a new year's gift soon as the promotion of over 100 IAS, IPS and IFS officers is on the slot in 2022.
The promotion list of civil service officers is expected to be released today. Reportedly, around 102 IAS, IPS and IFS officers could get the promotion. Chiefly among them are Abhay Kumar, who will be the only officer to become ACAS. Besides, IPS Officers include four Inspectors General getting elevated to the rank of Additional Director General. As the Rajasthan Government has gotten on with mission 2023, the promotion of senior officials in such huge numbers signals a big reshuffle in near future.
Rajasthan Government will be going full throttle with fresh postings to take the government schemes to the most marginalized sections of the society. Many senior officials with additional charges may see their burden gets a little lighter to make them more effective.
